Policeman injured in firing by unknown attackers



A policeman was shot at and injured by unknown men in Bewoora Bijbhera area of south Kashmir’s Islamabad district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

A top police officer told the media that militants fired upon a policeman in Bijbehara.

He received bullet wound and was subsequently shifted to nearby hospital for treatment.

The injured policeman received bullet wound in his leg and his condition is stated to be stable. He has been identified as Firdous Ahmad, the officer added.—KMS
