Police crackdown continues against POs residing outside Pakistan

On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police’s crackdown against dangerous proclaimed offenders and fugitives is continued, and in this regard, four dangerous criminals involved in the cases of murder and kidnapping have been arrested and returned to the country from UAE.

IG Punjab said that total number of fugitives and proclaimed offenders arrested from foreign countries this year has reached 134. These accused have been arrested and brought back home from other countries including America, United Kingdom, South Africa, Europe, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. According to the details, Sadaqat Ali, wanted A-category dangerous fugitive for many years involved in the kidnapping case, has been arrested from the United Arab Emirates. In 2019, Sadaqat Ali kidnapped three children and escaped to the United Arab Emirates. Punjab Police has issued a red notice from Interpol, continuously followed up with the UAE government to arrest the accused.

UAE Police finally arrested the accused and handed him over to Pakistan.
