The Education Authority Lahore has banned the usage of motorcycle and car by underage students lacking driving license.
A communique in this regard was issued to heads of all educational institutions of the provincial capital on Tuesday. It should be mentioned here that underage students using bike/cars without having driving license were creating difficulties for traffic administration and administrations of educational institutions. The communique read: “Underage students should not be allowed to park bikes and cars in jurisdiction of the schools and over violation, action will be taken against head of respective institution.”
The Education Authority Lahore further stated that incharge of class should direct underage students to avoid using bike/car and organize lectures for students to create awareness about traffic rules. The teachers should contact parents of students using bike/car without having driving license as it was hazardous for lives of others.
