Police continue crackdown against drug smugglers

Attock Police is continuing its jihad against drug smugglers. 4 suspects were arrested from across the district, around 4 kg of hashish, 120 grams of heroin, 60 grams of ice and 10 Liter of liquor was recovered, according to the details, during the checking, the police of Hazro police station seized 1400 grams of hashish, 120 grams of heroin and 60 grams of ice from the drug smuggler Khurram Shahzad son of Azmat Khan Sukna Ghorghashti Hazro, Sadar Attock police station Saad Farooq son of Muhammad Hanif Sukna from Shakar Dara.

1260 grams of hashish, police station New Airport police team stopped and checked Mursalin son of Basharat Sukna Fateh Jang as suspicious, then they recovered 1060 grams of hashish from accused Mursalin, while Police from Sadar Hasan Abdal police station seized 10 liters from Abu Bakr Siddique son of Hasanullah Sukna Hasan Abdal. After exporting alcohol, registered separate cases against all the accused and decorated them with iron ornaments

Meanwhile a court in Hassanabdal town of Attock on Friday has sentenced a man to 15-year imprisonment on charges of raping a woman. The judge found Farooq Ahmed guilty of subjecting the victim to a sexual assault in 2023 within the jurisdiction of the Hassanabdal police station. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 0.2 million on him and ruled that in case of default, he would suffer an additional six months in prison.
