A man injured his wife and three in-laws after doctors reported that his wife was going to give birth to second daughter. According to details, accused hailing from suburban village of district Obaro of Sindh had a daughter and wanted a son.
However, the doctors reported that Asima Rind, wife of the accused was going to give birth to second daughter.
Annoyed over not bearing male child, the culprit tortured his wife and three in-laws with batons and axe leaving them injured.
Parents of Asima told police said their daughter got married two year earlier and had a daughter but her husband wanted to have male heir from her. However, over bearing second daughter accused along with his father tortured Asima.
The police after registering a case arrested husband of the injured woman and raids were being conducted to arrest his father.—INP
