Punjab University has awarded PhD degrees to its five scholars in different subjects after approval of their thesis.

According to details, the PU awarded PhD degree to Zia Ur Rehman Zia S/o Muhammad Yaqoob in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his thesis entitled ‘Islamic Critique of Modern Western Sociological Approach to the Study of Religion’, Saira Arif D/o Arif Mehmood in the subject of Chemistry after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Evaluation of Skin Whitening Creams for legal and Illegal Whitening Agents’, Huma Adrees D/o Muhammad Adrees in the subject of Agriculture Sciences (Plant Pathology) after approval of her thesis entitled ‘Role of Bio-antagonists and Chemical Elicitors to Manage Charcoal Root Rot of Cotton’, Rashid Jehangiri S/o Abdur Rehman in the subject of Total Quality Management after approval of his thesis entitled ‘Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility and Service Quality on Consumer Buying Behavior: A Study of Fast Food Restaurants’ and Khateeb Ahmed Khan S/o Sadiq Khan was awarded PhD degree in the subject of Education after approval of his thesis entitled ‘Impact of Higher Order Thinking Instructional Model on Scientific Reasoning and Science Learning Activation of Grade VIII Students: An Experimental Study’.
