KARACHI – Pakistani couple passed their CSS exam on their first attempt.
Dr Hajra Niaz and her husband Huzaifa Mughal took to the social media and shared the development.
“Alhamdulillah, we dreamt it together and achieved it together,” said Huzaifa Mughal in a post.
He wrote, “ Both me and my wife have cleared CSS 2023 and got allocated in the Police Service of Pakistan and Inland Revenue Services respectively,” .
Dr. Hajra said that she was in 2nd year MBBS when Huzaifa sent proposal to her home.
“I told him I have my career goals, he said, ‘To mil k karen ge na’,” said Dr Hajra.
After it, Hajra said she won the Prime Minister Innovation Award, the KPK Innovation Award, 19 essay awards, mentioned by the BBC, Dean’s Honour, and Youth Parliamentarian, and cleared the CSS on the first attempt.
She received a lot of messages on WhatsApp and Instagram when the result came out.
She founded Ayubian Literary and Arts Forum (ALAF) and revived the Karakorum magazine of Ayub Medical College, established the Students’ Organization for Counselling, Rehabilitaion, Art Therapy, Education, and Support (SOCRATES).
Apart from this, she is running a social enterprise, the Annon Association, for mental health.
When the followers asked her if the CSS is difficult or easy, Dr Hajra said It was difficult.
She wrote, “My five years of professional preparation for the MBBS was not so difficult as the CSS,”.
In 2018, she was selected for the Youth Innovation Award by the KP government and under the UNDP, she worked for the welfare of transgender community and acid survivors.
Dr Hajra did her schooling at Army Burn Hall School and College, Abbottabad. She did her MBBS from Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad.
