Pakistan Suzuki remained the largest seller among traditional manufacturers, recording 7,633 units in August, up 7% year-on-year but down 25% from July. Indus Motor Company sold 4,029 units, registering 19% annual growth while declining 21% month-on-month. Honda Atlas recorded sales of 2,633 units, showing annual growth with little monthly change.
The broader automobile market also recorded gains. Two- and three-wheeler sales rose 20% year-on-year to 178,119 units, while truck and bus sales increased 31% to 875 units.
Industry analysts expect the auto sector to perform better during the current fiscal year, with new vehicle variants and the entry of new brands expected to support demand.
