BANGKOK – The Embassy of Pakistan in Bangkok has issued a new fee schedule for e-passports, with charges set in Thai baht following the country’s shift from machine-readable passports (MRPs) to e-passports on October 23, 2026.

The revised fee structure, effective from October 23, outlines charges for regular and urgent processing of passports with different page capacities and validity periods. It also specifies fees for replacing lost passports.

Under the new schedule, a 36-page e-passport valid for five years costs 1,500 Thai baht under normal processing and 2,400 baht under urgent processing. For a 10-year validity period, the charges stand at 2,200 baht and 3,500 baht, respectively.

For applicants seeking a 72-page passport valid for five years, the fee is 2,600 baht under normal processing and 4,100 baht for urgent processing. The 72-page passport with a 10-year validity period costs 3,800 baht under normal processing and 6,000 baht under urgent processing.

The embassy has also outlined higher charges for lost passports. For the first lost passport, fees range from 3,000 to 12,000 baht, depending on the booklet size, validity period and processing category.

In the case of a second lost passport, the charges range from 6,000 to 24,000 baht across the available categories.

The fee schedule further states that charges for third and fourth lost passports will be determined under applicable rules and will require approval from the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports headquarters in Islamabad.
