ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and Google on Friday signed an important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at accelerating the country’s digital transformation, fostering innovation, and boosting its technology sector.
The MoU was signed at the Prime Minister’s Office where PM Shehbaz hosted a reception for the Google delegation.
Pakistan and Google have signed an MoU aimed at promoting digital skills, boosting IT exports and encouraging innovation across the country. As part of the initiative, Google plans to provide 150,000 career certificates in Pakistan during 2026.
The agreement also includes efforts to improve Pakistani students’ access to advanced artificial intelligence tools, with the goal of supporting their learning and future career opportunities.
