ISLAMABAD – Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan, Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force, called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces at Pakistan’s General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.
The high-level meeting focused on matters of mutual interest, evolving regional security dynamics, and avenues to enhance bilateral defence and military cooperation.
Both sides underscored the critical importance of professional collaboration, joint training exchanges, and stronger defence relations between the armed forces of Bangladesh and Pakistan.
During visit, Air Chief Marshal Khan lauded professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces, praising their contributions to peace and stability in the region. In response, Field Marshal Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to fostering enduring defence ties with Bangladesh.
The meeting concluded as testament to the longstanding and robust relationship between the two brotherly nations, signaling a renewed drive for cooperation and strategic partnership in South Asia.
