Pak vs Ban: Pakistan whitewash Bangladesh in Test series


DHAKA – Spinner Sajid Khan’s sensational bowling spell guided Pakistan to seal two-match Test series against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur.

Tigers were made to follow-on by the Men in Green Shirts after the former lost their all wickets on the fifth day of the second Test match. Pakistan won the match by eight runs.

Bangladesh resumed the match at 76-7, but they lost the remaining three wickets for 11 runs due to impressive bowling by Shaheens.

Pakistan have become the first team to take 13 wickets on the fifth day of the match. Furthermore, Sajid Khan has also become the first Pakistani spinner to bag 12 wickets in a Test match.

President Arif Alvi has congratulated the team for winning the Test series against Bangladesh.

“Congratulations to Pakistan Cricket team for winning the 2nd Test match too, this time by an innings. Excellent bowling by Sajid Khan. Commiseration with the Bangladesh team for this loss,” he wrote.
