United Kingdom-based Pakistani, Kashmiri expatriates, while lauding Prime Minister Imran Khan’s recent address to the 75th session of United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), termed it historic and realistic depicting the prevailing true current situation of the current Indo-Pak subcontinent following the continual stubborn approach of India in peaceful resolution of much-delayed global issue of Jammu & Kashmir, in line with international norms and commitments including those enshrined in the UN resolutions on the conflict.
“IKs’ was extremely confident and absolutely unequivocal in raising Kashmir question in his speech which was the manifestation of the factual data of the Kashmir issue, the major cause of tension in the region”, said Britain-based Kashmiris rights outfit Global Pak Kashmir Supreme Council (GPKSC) Chairman Raja Sikander Khan, President of the organisation Kala Khan and President AJK Chapter Syed Shabbir Ahmed in a joint press statement reaching and released to the media here on Monday.
Praising the Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Imran Khan’s speech, the Pakistan, Kashmir Diaspora community leaders said “ the way PM Imran Khan presented the national Kashmir cause identifying all the reasons confronted by Pakistan’s sincere endeavors for the early peaceful solution of Kashmir issue – most particularly due to the continual denial by India to settle the conflict in line with the globally-recognized UN resolutions on the conflict.
The Pak, Kashmir expatriates fora’s leader further said “the PM of Pakistan raised the Kashmir issue in such realistic order as he did so forcefully which is worthy of appraising and appreciating”.
They added as saying “ the Diaspora regardless of their political affiliations and ideologies, highly praise and appreciate Imran Khan’s firm national stance on Kashmir and the Kashmiris always stand with fully supporting whole heartedly as it fully represent the sentiments of the people of Jammu & Kashmir, the major party to Kashmir conflict”.
The GPKSC leaders further said “Imran Khan also quite rightly pointed out and raised the International matters relating to Palestine, Islamophobia and the ugly conditions of the freedom-loving people in the bleeding IIOJK State besides the Indian Muslims confronted history’s worst tyranny and human rights abuses by the hard-liner Modi-led Indian government”.
They further said that in his address to the UNGA, IK rightly warned the world of India’s ulterior motives and nefarious designs of expansionism in the region with its fascist PM Modi-led BJP / RSS regime playing a dangerous game against Pakistan and disputed Jammu Kashmir in such a hostile environment, that could lead to the nuclear conflict between the two arch rivals in South Arias.
The GPKSC leaders urged upon the United Nation that the Security Council must intervene and prevent any disastrous conflict between the two countries by securing and ensuring the implementation of its own resolutions on Jammu & Kashmir issue in order to achieve the right of self determination and freedom for the people of illegally Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir, they added.
The Organization’s Chairman Raja Sikander Khan concluded as saying “ PM Imran Khan has proved to be the most distinguished humanitarian world leader as his just and principled unequivocal stance on the crimes against humanity and pro-longed unlawful occupation of IIOJ&K as well as Palestinian are worthy of exceptional praise and appreciation”, the press message concluded.
