The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024 retake is being conducted today across Sindh, with more than 38,000 students appearing at designated centres. The test, organized under the supervision of IBA Sukkur following court directives, is being held at multiple locations, including NED University and the University of Karachi in Karachi.
The three-and-a-half-hour exam comprises 200 multiple-choice questions. To facilitate candidates, specific entry points have been designated at each centre: Karachi University: Metroville Gate, Maskan Gate, and Shaikh Zaid Gate, IBA Public School Sukkur: Gate Number 3, Mehran University, Jamshoro: Gate Number 2, Hyderabad Public School, Latifabad: Central Gate, Police Training School, Larkana: Main Gate. Authorities have strictly prohibited the use of mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic devices inside the examination halls.
Candidates are required to present their original Admit Slip and one form of valid identification for verification. Dr. Asif Shaikh, Vice-Chancellor of Sukkur IBA, assured that all measures have been taken to ensure a fair and smooth testing process. “The papers are kept under strict security, and special teams have been deployed to oversee the examination,” he said, emphasizing that there is no possibility of cheating or paper leaks.
