ISLAMABAD – Director‑General of the Inter‑Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry clarified that Pakistan has not allowed the US government to conduct strikes on Afghanistan from its territory.

Speaking out against misinformation, he criticized Afghan state propaganda that suggested otherwise, emphasizing Pakistan’s sovereign control over its military bases. Lt. Gen. Chaudhry highl

He also laid down a sweeping and uncompromising message: Pakistan will alone decide its stance on Gaza, protect every inch of its territory and every one of its citizens and tolerate no interference.

Chaudhry stated that when it comes to Gaza, Pakistan isn’t taking orders: “Pakistan alone will decide its stance.” He made clear the country “stands ready to defend every inch of its territory and every citizen within it.” This is a declaration of independent policy and military readiness.

Turning the spotlight to the Afghan border, Chaudhry said there will be no negotiations with terrorist groups. He revealed that Pakistan’s rapid, force‑ful responses to provocations from across the border have “achieved exactly what Islamabad intended.” He accused Afghan based drug‑traffickers of meddling in Pakistani politics — flooding Pakistan with narcotics while undermining its security.

On the home front, Chaudhry revealed ongoing “high‑intensity” military operations in the Tirah Valley and Khyber‑Pakhtunkhwa, stating that 1,667 terrorists have been neutralised in the fight against what the military terms “Fitna al‑Khawarij.”

He warned that certain political figures and terrorist networks are actively trying to block anti‑crime and anti‑smuggling initiatives — but Pakistan’s institutions will “not back down” until terrorism is eradicated.

ISPR chief warning was unambiguous a Pakistan will act decisively. Pakistan will protect its people. Pakistan will never bow to external pressure.
