The National Logistics Cell distributed Eid gifts among children at government hospitals in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Pindi. Children admitted at mostly government hospitals for medical treatment, were ecstatic to receive eid gift packs from NLC that included colouring books, colour pencils, Rubik’s cube and other stationery.

Thousands of gifts packs were distributed at The Children’s Hospital in Lahore, Benazir Children Hospital and Holy Family Hospital in Rawalpindi, and at the Children’s Hospital Gulshan-e-Iqbal, and also at the Omair Sana Foundation Hospital in Ka-rachi. It was a cheerful sight at these hospitals as most children were elated upon receiving eid gifts.

Dr Raza, the deputy medical superintendent of the Lahore Children’s Hospital (the 2nd largest children’s hospital in the world) said, “This was a surprising act of kindness for these children. It made their eid special”. Hospital administrations and parents appreciated this act and hoped this would inspire others.

A statement released by NLC’s Corporate Commu-nications department read, “As a responsible corpo-rate entity, NLC has always believed in giving back to the society, and also in an inclusive tomorrow.
