New LPG prices in Pakistan for December 2024 announced

ISLAMABAD – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced an increase prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for December 2024 as temperature continues to fall due to winter season.

OGRA has issued a notification, stating that new price of LGP has been fixed at Rs254.30 per kilogramme while the price of 11.8 domestic cylinder has been fixed at Rs3,000.79 after an increase of Rs1.32 for the upcoming month.

The new prices will come into effect from December 1, 2024, tomorrow in Pakistan.

However, the LPG is being solder for Rs300 to Rs330 per kilogramm by retailer shops in Lahore with authorities failing to take an action against them.

Petrol Prices in Pakistan For December 2024

The federal government is expected to revise up the petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan in upcoming fortnightly review for December 2024.

The government will announce the revision in petroleum prices tonight, November 30, while the new rates will be applicable from December 1 to 15.

The current petrol price stands at Rs248.38 per litre in Pakistan for November 2024 while the price of high speed diesel stands at Rs255.14.

As per reports, the government is expected to increase the petrol prices by Rs3.15 to Rs251.53 while the price of high speed diesel would be hiked by Rs3.20 to Rs257.34.

The final decision about the increase in petrol prices will be made the the federal government after reviewing the various factors including available stock, revenue generations and international prices.
