Videos from the scene show a van with its doors blown off, a completely mangled car, and an injured man lying helplessly on the ground. The blast’s force was so immense that nearby vehicles were badly damaged, highlighting the sheer power of the explosion.

Emergency responders acted swiftly, deploying 20 fire tenders to douse the inferno. Several victims were rushed to Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital as the Delhi Police’s Special Cell cordoned off the site to begin investigations.
Eyewitnesses described a terrifying scene. One resident said, “I saw a massive fireball from my terrace and ran down. The explosion was deafening. My house is right near the gurdwara.”
The Red Fort, also known as Lal Qila, a major tourist attraction, is located in the heart of densely populated Old Delhi, adding to concerns about civilian safety and the scale of destruction caused by the blast.
