In a proactive move, Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Najmi Alam, and Director General of Sindh Food Authority (SFA), Agha Fakhar Hussain, conducted a joint inspection of markets in the District Central District. Accompanied by local administration officials, Syed Najmi Alam assessed the prices of essential food items, while Agha Fakhar Hussain personally inspected various dairy shops, ensuring compliance with hygiene standards.
During the visit, fines were imposed on several dairy vendors found lacking in sanitation practices. Speaking on the occasion, Agha Fakhar Hussain reiterated SFA’s commitment to addressing consumer complaints and promoting hygiene awareness among the public. He emphasized the collaborative efforts of SFA with all stakeholders to foster a healthier society.
