ISLAMABAD – The Airport Health Department has declared a valid NADRA vaccination certificate mandatory for international travels from any airport across Pakistan.

It announced that the latest requirements will come into effect from September 14, adding that passengers will be denied overseas travel over failing to provide the certificate.

The department has particularly advised Umrah pilgrims to obtain their NADRA vaccination cards before leaving for Saudi Arabia.

Airlines have also been instructed to check and verify the vaccination certificates of passengers travelling for Umrah before allowing them to proceed.

According to the notification, the Federal Government Civil Dispensary has been designated as the only centre providing vaccination services for international travellers.

Passengers who plan to receive their vaccination at the airport have been advised to arrive at least six hours before their scheduled flight.

Vaccination facilities will be available at the international departure area, where the required online registration process will also be completed.

The Airport Health Department has urged travellers to complete all vaccination and documentation requirements ahead of their departure to avoid delays or difficulties at the airport.
