KARACHI – Actor and television anchor Mishi Khan on Tuesday made startling claims regarding recent Halloween parties held in Karachi, sparking widespread debate across social media platforms.
Known for speaking openly on social and moral issues, Mishi Khan in her latest video statement described these parties as “open vulgarity,” terming them a matter of “serious legal and moral concern.”
She alleged that a particular Halloween party recently held in Karachi was “reportedly attended by same-sex couples,” calling it a violation of social and ethical norms.
“I have received information that the event crossed all moral boundaries, yet it is unfortunate that no action was taken by the authorities,” she stated. Khan added that although some people dismiss her remarks as moral preaching, she would continue to speak the truth.
“It is alarming for our society that such parties are being held openly without any restrictions,” she remarked.
Following Mishi Khan’s statement, social media saw a flurry of reactions. Many users supported her stance, agreeing that she was “absolutely right,” while others urged authorities to take immediate action against such gatherings. However, some users criticized the controversy, arguing that the issue was being exaggerated unnecessarily.
