Minister assures to launch seed fund in KP soon


On the special directives and instructions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Science & Technology and Information Technology and Food Atif Khan, has said that seed fund component of digital jobs in KP, has to be launched soon to integrate women into the digital economy and make them more empowered and economically independent.

This seed funds will provide financial support ranging from 5,000 dollars to 15,000 dollars to expand “female led startups” in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and make their business more profitable.

According to “Digital Jobs in KP” in the first phase of Digital Jobs, KPITB took measures to ensure that the Incubation Centres (Durshals) established by KPITB across different districts remain inclusive spaces for women and other marginalized communities, and thrive as community centres.—Staff Reporter
