Punjab Arts Council (PAC) in collaboration with Shahbazan-e-Adab Pakistan on Saturday organized a Mehfil-e-Musharia in connection with Pakistan Defence Day.
Renowned famous poet and critic Dr. Waheed Ahmad presided over the Mehfil-e-mushaira, while RehanAbbasi and HabibaRathor was the host of the Event. AkhtarUsman, Ahmed Atta Allah, ShakeelJazeb participated in the Mushaira as guests of honor. The organizers of the Mushaira included NawaiSarosh Ahmed, Muhammad MunirQasim, AnjamSalimi and Nasir Ali Nasir. In his presidential address, Dr. Waheed said that the mention of Pakistan Defence Day warms hearts, raises enthusiasm and refreshes faith. We salute the martyrs who laid down their lives for the defense of the motherland, he said adding that the brave sons of the country fought fearlessly against the enemy and created a bright chapter in history.
