Man shot, injured in resisting robbery bid

Two armed bandits equipped with sophisticated weapons shot and injured a man over resisting robbery in the limits of Taxila Police station on Thursday.

Matiullah has reported to Police that he was going his house after work when two masked men equipped with sophisticated weapons intercepted him and on gunpoint snatched his cell phone and cash and when he resisted, the armed bandits shot him on his chest and fled away successfully on a motorcycle.

Moreover, in a day broad light robbery incident, two armed robbers on gunpoint cash worth Rs 0.2 million from a man in the same police station.—INP
