Body of a 40-year-old man was discovered under mysterious circumstances in Sopore town of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased, identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, was found lying in Duroo village of the town by local residents.
Upon discovery, the body was promptly transported to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals pronounced him dead on arrival.
A police official stated that the body has been transferred to the sub-district hospital in Sopore for post-mortem examination.
Once legal formalities are completed, the body will be handed over to the family for last rites. The official also confirmed the registration of a case, with further investigation underway.—KMS
