LAHORE – A man allegedly killed his elderly mother and a neighbour by hitting them with an iron rod, the local police said on Wednesday.
The incident took place in Harbanspura area of the provincial capital.
The police said that two daughters of the neighbour also got injured in the incident.
The police said that they arrested the suspectpolice added.
The police said the incident followed a minor dispute between 70-year-old Sultana and her neighbour, Kaneez Fatima.
The suspect and another person allegedly assaulted both women with an iron rod, resulting in their deaths.
The injured daughters were shifted for medical treatment, while police have launched an investigation into the incident.
