Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Sunday directed lawmakers from Lodhran to remain focused on resolving public issues in their constituencies.
She was speaking during a meeting with Punjab Assembly members Muhammad Zubair Khan and Shazia Hayat, during which political matters, development projects and issues confronting the people of Lodhran came under discussion.
The lawmakers apprised the chief minister of public grievances in their constituencies. CM Punjab directed them to continue efforts for their resolution.
The MPAs also lauded the completion of the Multan-Wahari Road and thanked the chief minister on behalf of the people for launching the electrobus service in Lodhran.
They said the electrobus service on Shahida Islam Hospital, Dunyapur, Kacheri Chowk, Milad Chowk and Kehror Pakka routes was setting new records of success and popularity.
The lawmakers said the chief minister’s health initiatives had won public appreciation.
CM Punjab said people from other provinces were also benefiting from Punjab’s hospitals and educational institutions.
She said the Jinnah Institute of Cardiology in Lahore and cath labs in various districts were fully operational, adding that Punjab had truly entered an era of development and technology.
The chief minister said Punjab would take the lead in technology-enabled public services through the Punjab eBiz and Maryam Ki Dastak portals.
