ABBOTTABAD – The Licensed Building Control Authority (LBCA) Tehsil Abbottabad issued a list of illegal housing socities, warning public to avoid investing in these schemes, plazas, and unapproved properties operating within its jurisdiction.
The LBCA emphasized the necessity of obtaining prior approval and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the relevant authorities before commencing any construction work.
The authority further warned that stringent legal action would be taken against any housing schemes or properties found to be operating without official approval, particularly if complaints are lodged.
Residents and potential investors were advised to refrain from investing in unapproved housing schemes, as doing so could expose them to legal repercussions. The LBCA also reminded the public that under Regulation 2024, enforcement against illegal housing projects will be stepped up.
Illegal Housing Societies in Abbottabad
Several illegal housing projects have already been identified, including Jeddah Town on Main KKH Road Samahliya, Ali Town on Mehtab Abbasi Road Bhimber Pora, Shanail Valley on Main KKH Road Tanula Pir, Shamaline Residential near KP House Chowk, Abdullah Town on Tarna Road, WB Group on Main KKH Road Tarna, and Waseem Gardens on Shaheed Ali Khan Road Tanriyan.
In addition, the notice clarified that obtaining LBCA approval is mandatory before advertising, promoting, or booking plots for any housing project. Those found violating these regulations may face fines ranging from Rs300,000 to Rs5 million.
