Lahore to Karachi and other passenger trains new timings announced

Passenger Train Fares Increased From July 2025 New Ticket Prices

LAHORE – The Pakistan Railways has released the updated schedule for trains traveling from Lahore and Faisalabad to major cities including Karachi, Quetta, and Rawalpindi.

According to the new schedule, several trains will experience delays, while others will maintain their usual timings.

Karakoram Express (42-Down), which departs for Karachi, will now leave Lahore at 5:15 PM instead of its usual 3:00 PM, due to a delay of 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Pak Business Express (34-Down), originally scheduled to depart at 4:30 PM, will now leave Lahore at 7:00 PM, with a delay of 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Karachi Express (16-Down) will depart for Karachi as planned, at 6:00 PM from Lahore.

Shah Hussain Express (44-Down) passengers will be accommodated on the Green Line (6-Down) service, with the Green Line leaving Lahore at its usual time of 8:40 PM.

Passengers traveling on Shah Hussain Express (44-Down) are advised to arrive at least one hour before the Green Line departure to ensure smooth accommodation on the alternate train.

However, all other trains heading to Karachi, Quetta, Rawalpindi, and other cities are operating according to their regular schedules.

Passengers are encouraged to check the updated train timings and arrive ahead of time to avoid any inconvenience caused by the revised schedules.
