According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), moist currents from the Arabian Sea are continuously penetrating the upper and central parts of Pakistan. A shallow westerly wave is also affecting the northern parts of the country.

Under these conditions, rains and strong winds are likely in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galyat, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin, Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Khushab, Sargodha, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Bhakkar, Bahawalnagar, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Narowal and Okara on Tuesday night.
On Wednesday, more intermittent rains and strong winds are likely in Rawalpindi, Murree, Galyat, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujranwala, Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, Sahiwal, Sialkot, Narowal and Okara during the evening/night.

Daytime temperatures in Lahore are expected to remain between 37°C and 39°C on Wednesday and between 38°C and 40°C on Thursday.
