PESHAWAR – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur called for an Apex Committee meeting on Thursday (today).
According to the details, the Apex Committee meeting would be held at 12 PM today.
The meeting would be attended by the Peshawar Corps Commander, Chief Secretary, IG, and other officials including the Additional Chief Secretary for Home Affairs.
Five elders from the Bannu Jirga would also attend the Apex Committee meeting.
The demands of the Bannu Jirga, which were accepted by the government, would be presented before the Apex Committee.
The meeting would discuss the procedure for forming a commission regarding the Bannu incident.
It may be mentioned here that a Jirga regarding the Bannu incident was held at the Chief Minister’s House a few days ago, where the Jirga members presented their demands to Ali Amin Gandapur.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa accepted the demands and decided to convene the Apex Committee meeting.
