Karachi Tape-Ball Premier League Season 3 begins

KARACHI – The highly anticipated Karachi Tape-Ball Premier League (KTPL) Season Three kicked off at the DHA Sports Club Moin Khan Academy.

The inaugural match witnessed an intense showdown between defending champions DHA Dabanggs and Clifton Popular teams.

Adding an extra layer of excitement, a celebratory match between Chief Minister Sindh XI and KTPL XI took place before the main event. The participation of renowned politicians, actors, and personalities from various walks of life further enhanced the grandeur of the occasion.

Star cricketer Javed Miandad and Chairman of KTPL Zohair Naseer addressed the opening ceremony organized by Pakistan Tape-Ball Foundation and Badar Expo Solutions.

The leading sponsors include State Life Insurance Corporation of Pakistan, UBL Ameen, Popular Group of Companies, and Osaka.

The chief guest, Governor Sindh, and the guest of honor, the caretaker minister for Sports & Youth Affairs, Dr. Syed Junaid Ali Shah emphasized the importance of sports in fostering unity and providing opportunities for young talent.

This year’s KTPL Season Three boasts a diverse lineup of teams, DHA Dabanggs, Clifton Popular, Johar Jawaans, Gulshan Gohar, Lyari Legends, Malir Malangs, North Nawabs, and Karachi Knights.

The matches scheduled to take place from December 1st to December 16th will be broadcast live on GEO Sports.
