Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq has said the JI wants the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf-led government to go down on its own rather than being forced out through any unconstitutional way and become a political martyr.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he criticized the prime minister for making tall claims and describing three-year performance of the government as excellent, saying the claims of the ruling party was contrary to the ground realities.

“Inflation, joblessness and bad governance are the trademarks of the current regime. There is no difference between the PTI government and past rulers. The PTI, the PML-N and the PPP are the sides of the same coin.—INP
