JI protests against delay in relief distributions

Activists of Jamaat-e-Islami Thatta took out rally and protested against the alleged corruption and delay in the distribution of aid to the affected people by devastating floods.

The rally was led by General Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Thatta Advocate Abdul Majeed Samo, Abdullah Adam Gandro, Ghulam Shafi Samo that gathered outside DC Thatta office and staged sit in.

The activists earlier demonstrated at DC Chowk Maki. While addressing the speakers including, Advocate Abdul Majeed Samo, Ghulam Shafi Samo, Altaf Mallah and others in their speechs said people of both Thatta and Sujawal districts have been left on mercy of only God, with out proper food, medicines, mosquito nets, therfore they face enormous issues. They said a large number of people who are still livimak in makeshift camps in open sky at embankments of Indus.
