According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), weak monsoon currents are penetrating upper and eastern parts of Pakistan. .A westerly wave is also affecting northwestern parts of the country.
PMD Forecast
Hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the country on Tuesday night Wednesday and Thursday. However, rain-wind/thundershowers are likely in Islamabad, Rawalpindi and parts of Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and northeast Punjab.
Temperatures Outlook
Daytime temperatures in Islamabad are expected to remain between 35°C and 37°C on Wednesday and Thursday.
Daytime temperatures in Rawalpindi are expected to remain between 33°C and 35°C on Wednesday and Thursday.

Over the past 24 hours, rains and gusty winds occurred in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Heavy falls also occurred at isolated places.
