Jammu and Kashmir Tehreek-e-Muzahamat (TeM), a constituent of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, has termed India’s attempts to hoodwink the international community about the ground situation of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir as shameful.
The TeM Acting Chairman, Muhammad Saleem Zargar, in a statement issued in Srinagar said, India has unleashed a chain of events in occupied Jammu and Kashmir to satisfy its colonial ego and to propagate its illegal and false narrative.
He said, these events like holding of a G20 event and now a judges’ conference in the internationally-recognized disputed territory reflects New Delhi’s nefarious designs about the land and people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Muhammad Saleem Zargar maintained that In-dia’s attempts to cover its illegal and immoral posi-tion on Kashmir will never succeed. All these efforts are fruitless and will prove counter-productive given that Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally-accepted dispute and the world knows and recognises the Kashmiris’ urge to get it resolved according to the relevant international commitments, he added.—KMS
