Posters have appeared in Srinagar again highlighting the prevailing grim human rights situation in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The posters with pictures of APHC leaders, dis-played by pro-freedom organizations denounced the Indian attempt to hold a so-called three-day confer-ence of 200 judges in Srinagar from Thursday. They maintained that like the G-20 meeting, this conference was also doomed to fail. The posters have been displayed by various organizations including Jammu and Kashmir Political Resistance Movement, Jammu and Kashmir Justice and Peace Initiative, Nawjawanan-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, War-seen-e-Shuhada Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir De-mocratic Youth Forum, Jammu and Kashmir Stu-dents and Youth Forum, and Jammu Kashmir De-mocratic Movement.

The posters said that the Indian judges had no moral justification for holding such meeting or talk-ing on such subjects as the people of IIOJK lived the life in a colonized and enslaved atmosphere. The Indian judges through these posters have been asked to do justice with the illegally detained Kashmiris. They have been urged to give verdict against the revocation of Articles 370 and 35-A instead of toeing the Modi government’s line on Kashmir.

The posters urged the UN to take cognizance of this nefarious move and continued denial of the right to self-determination to the Kashmiris recognized by the UN Security Council through its several resolutions.—KMS
