An Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) soldier died in an accident in Srinagar city in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The CRPF man identified as Mahesh Singh of 79 Battalion was critically injured when a branch of the Chinar tree fell on him near Amarsingh club in Sonwar area of the city. He succumbed to his injuries at the Soura hospital in Srinagar.
Meanwhile, a man died in a tragic road accident in Salamabad Bijhama area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district while another man drowned to death after he allegedly slipped while fishing in Nigeen area of Srinagar city.—KMS
