India Exposed Again As Passport Details Of Sydney Beach Shooter Sajid Akram Surface

SYDNEY – Documents have surfaced revealing that Sajid Akram, the Indian-origin individual involved in the recent Sydney beach shooting, held an Indian passport.

According to the documents, Akram’s passport was issued by the Indian Embassy in Australia on February 24, 2022, with a validity of ten years.

Reports claim that Indian authorities were aware of Akram’s Indian citizenship from the beginning of the investigation. However, this information was not immediately made public. Following the attack, Indian media attempted to portray the attacker as Pakistani, a narrative that has since been labeled as misleading propaganda.

Further details have emerged that in 2020, Australia expelled two officers of India’s intelligence agency, allegedly involved in espionage activities, with a focus on profiling the Indian diaspora in Australia.

These revelations are raising new questions about the broader implications of foreign intelligence activities in the country.

In addition, it has been reported that Sajad Akram recently traveled to the Philippines using his Indian passport. Australian authorities have stated that a thorough investigation is ongoing, and all evidence will be thoroughly examined to uncover the full scope of the case.

Earlier this week, at least 15 people were killed and 27 others were injured after a shooting at Australia’s famous Bondi Beach in Sydney.

Police had identified the two suspects as a 50-year-old father Sajid Akram and 24-year old son Naveed.
