The Islamabad High Court Monday issued notices to federal Secretary Information and APP Managing Director in a case against alleged irregularities in recently held recruitments in state-run news agency Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).

IHC Justice Mohsin Akhter Kiyani while issuing notices sought the complete record of recruitments in APP news agency on January 10.

Advocate Husnain Haider Thaheem prayed that APP did not recruit his client despite his client fulfilling all the eligibility criteria.

Justice Mohsin Akhter Kiyani remarked that illegal work is always illegal no matter what caution could be taken.

Applicant lawyer Husnain Haider pleaded the court that few candidates have not required degrees and relevant work experience and irreverent people were recruited in APP.

He pleaded the court to issue orders to APP to present a written test (screening test) record and video recording of the interview.
IHC issued notices and sought all records on Jan 10.
