House maid held, stolen ornaments recovered

The Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad Police on Monday arrested a house maid and recovered stolen gold and diamond ornaments from her possession.
According to police spokesman, in line with the special directions of Inspector General of Police Muhamamd Amir Zulfqar Khan, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations) Waqar Uddin Syed assigned special task to SP (Investigation) to ensure arrest of those involved in criminal activities in various areas of Aabpara police station.
The SP Investigation constituted special team under supervision of DSP CIA Hakim Khan including. ASI Rana Tasneem, and others.
The team arrested a house maid identified as Shabana Rafqat resident of Zia Masjid and recovered gold and diamond ornaments. A case was registered against the detainee and further investigation was underway. —INP
