Govt unconstitutionally withholding funds for provincial projects: Sherry

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Vice President and Senator Sherry Rehman has said that the decision of the federal government to stop providing funds for the development projects of the provinces is unconstitutional and extremely worrying. The federal government is responsible for the lack of resources.

The federation has to play its part in the provincial development projects in accordance with the constitution. It has been proved that the government in power in Islamabad cannot go along with the provinces.
