Punjab Minister for Human Rights and Minorities Affairs (HR&MA), Ejaz Alam Augustine has said the government is taking concrete steps to ensure the eradication of menace of drugs and other social evils in educational institutions. He said the eradication of all such evils can be ensured through a culture of education and sports.
These views were expressed by him while addressing a seminar on the role of substance (drug) abuse on the transmission of diseases and their transmission organized by a private university here on Tuesday.
Ejaz Alam said the establishment of a healthy society is inevitable while the menace of intolerance must be eradicated.
