Commissioner Gujranwala Division Naveed Haider Sherazi said that present Punjab government led by the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif is taking practical and result oriented measures for providing different facilities to the people at their doorsteps. While addressing a meeting held at District Complex Hafizabad, he said that the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif was committed to serve the people and upgrade living standard of the masses.
The Commissioner said that Nigehban Ramazan Ration Package was a historic and people friendly package worth Rs. 30 billion in the history of the Punjab in its own nature whereas under this package, hampers of ration were being supplied to people transparently at their doorsteps without hurting ego of the poor and less-resources people.
He said that with implementation on different initiatives taken by the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the people would get relief in great extant as well as living standard of the people would also be upgraded soon.
He laid foundation stone of Raquia Begum Chohan Training Centre PindiBhattian being constructed under auspices of the ‘MeriRooshni’ Trust, reviewed pace of work on ongoing development projects, distribution of ration under Chief Minister’s NigehbanRamzan Package, ‘Suthra’ Punjab Campaign and inspected different examination centres during the visit to ensure holding of examination transparently and peaceful atmosphere. Depuy Commissioner HafizabadSundasIrshad and other offices were also accompanied by him.
While giving briefing the Commissioner, DC SundasIrshad said that the Punjab government is completing different development projects worth Rs. 44 billion for providing communicational.
