‘Good News’: Smartphone prices decrease by up to Rs10,000 in Pakistan

LAHORE – The prices of nearly two dozen smartphones dropped by up to Rs10,000 in Pakistan as economic indicators are showing positive trends in Pakistan amid predictions of cut in inflation rate.

Local and foreign companies manufacturing mobile phones in Pakistan have reduced rates of 20 models from Rs400 to Rs10,000.

Reports said the companies had made significant reduction in prices of smartphones while prices of keypad mobile prince by up to Rs500.

The companies have reportedly dropped the prices to meet the sales target amid higher production. The spokespersons of the companies told media that the recent cut in mobile phone prices aimed at stablising the phone industry in Pakistan.

How Much the Prices of Smartphones Go Down in Pakistan?

The companies has cut the prices of 20 various smartphones ranging from Rs400 to Rs10,000. The list of the phones, which saw cut in prices, will be shared as soon as it is available.
