The 811th Annual three-day Urs (Religious Festival) of the great Sufi saint of the sub-continent, Khawaja Gharib Nawaz, Moinuddin Chishti Ajmeri successfully concluded at Pindi Fateh Jang Road (Mohri Phatak).
On the concluding day, Hazrat Dewan Syed Al-Habib Ali Khan offered a special prayer for the Muslim Ummah and Pakistan.`
Every year, Urs of Khawaja Gharib Nawaz is held at Pindi Fateh Jang Road. This year too, a large number of Sheikhs, scholars and devotees participated from all over the country. The Urs was presided over by Hazrat Dewan Syed Ali Habib Ali Khan organised by Peerzada Syed Alley Wajih.
On the occasion, along with the Urs Khwaja Gharib Nawaz the centenary celebrations of Dewan Syed Alley Rasool as the Sajjada Nasheen were also held.
Hazrat Khwaja Dewan Syed Ali Rasool Ali Khan held the seat of Sajjada Nashin of Ajmer Sharif in 1923 and performed religious services in Ajmer Sharif until 1947. So, he performed services as Sajjad Nashin Ajmer Sharif from 1923 to 1947 in Ajmer Sharif and after migrating to Pakistan from 1947 to 1973.
After his death, his elder son Hazrat Dewan Syed Al Mujtaba Ali Khan was appointed the Sajjada Nasheen of Ajmer Sharif. He was also appointed as the Crown Prince of Ajmer Sharif before the partition of Pakistan. After the death of Dewan Syed Alley Mujtaba, Dewan Syed Alley Habib Ali khan was appointed as Sajjada Nashin of Ajmer Daragh.
