ISLAMABAD – The German Embassy Islamabad has launched the Consular Services Portal for all types of employment visas.
The embassy in a statement said that the new system will speed up processes and increases the number of visa.
“The portal will guide you through the application process and required documents: Please complete the questionnaire thoroughly and ensure that you upload all documents,” read the statement shared on Facebook.
It further said that waiting lists are now closed and urged people to start their application on the portal if they have not received an appointment.
“Going forward, we will move more visa categories to the Consular Services Portal. This speeds up processes at the Embassy and increases the number of visa we can process,” it concluded.

Online Visa Application Steps
First, you need to visit the Consular Services Portal and complete the application form online, upload all the required supporting documents and submit these documents for preliminary review.
Second, you need to wait for the preliminary review which is conducted to ensure that everything is complete. If any information or documents are missing, this will be clarified with you directly via the Consular Services Portal. In this way, everything will be perfectly prepared for your in-person appointment at your German mission.
Third, an in-person appointment is fixed which aims at establishing the applicant’s identity and to submit their biometric data (fingerprints and photo). The applicant also pays the fee on site.
