ISLAMABAD – The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has initiated action against Galaxy Enclave, a housing scheme located on Lehtrar Road in Islamabad’s Zone-4, over alleged breaches of planning regulations.
Issuing a show-cause notice, the authority has directed the developer to suspend all development-related activities, including marketing, property transactions, allotments and transfers.
According to the notice, construction and other development work was allegedly undertaken without an approved Layout Plan and the required No Objection Certificate.
The developer has been allowed seven days to submit a response and address the works and structures identified by the authority as unauthorized.
The CDA has warned that failure to comply may result in the removal or demolition of such structures and sealing of the housing scheme and its site offices.
The authority said police assistance could be sought to implement the orders, while expenses incurred during enforcement may be recovered from those responsible.
Relevant CDA departments have also been asked to prepare for action against structures allegedly occupying areas reserved for public buildings and other amenities.
The housing society is yet to release its official response.
