Foreign Woman Alleges Assault By Islamabad Police Officers Inquiry Ordered

ISLAMABAD – A clip circulating on social media ignited widespread debate after a foreign woman was seen screaming and alleging that she was assaulted by female police officers.

The clip quickly drew public attention, prompting Islamabad SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza to order an immediate and transparent inquiry into the incident. ASP Nosherwan, SDPO Kohsar, has been tasked with investigating the matter and determining the facts.

Islamabad Police attempted to put the whole incident under the wrap, saying the dispute appears to be civil in nature. Authorities said both parties will be brought together in an effort to resolve the issue through dialogue while the investigation continues.
