DOHA – The Qatari government has announced the schedule of public holidays for Eidul Azha 2025, saying people will get five-day break to celebrate the event.
The holidays for the festival will commence from the Day of Arfah, which is marked on ninth of Islamic month of Zilhaj and continue till 13 Zilahj.
The Day of Arfah is expected to fall on June 5 however it all depends on the Zilhaj moon sighting. The Qatari moon sighting committee is set to meet on May 27.
Eidul Azha 2025 Holidays Schedule
If the Zilhaj moon is sighted on May 27, the Islamic month will commence on May 28. However, it will begin from May 29 if the moon is not sighted.
The Eid holidays will be observed from 9 Zilhaj to 13 Zilhaj in Qatar. The lunar calendar dates will be finalised after the announcement of the decision by the moon sighting committee.

All Pakistanis, especially younger ones, are waiting for Eid-ul-Adha 2025, with experts predicting Eid to be celebrated on June 7, 2025 Saturday, this year.
With these dates, Pakistani will celebrate Bakra Eid from June 7 Saturday to June 9 Monday.
